Established in February 2002, P3 is a mobile DJ entertainment company serving Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Palestine, Tyler, Longview, Jacksonville, Marshall, and anywhere else in our great state of Texas! We specialize in wedding ceremonies and receptions, school dances, school pep-rallies, private parties, class reunions, and more!
Owner/DJ/MC Justin "CT" Florence got his start in radio, when he began making commercials at the age of 8. He began his radio career in 1992 at the age of 13 on the gone, but not forgotten STAR 96.7 KLIS. It was there that he learned the basics of pleasing your listener from Dennis Lively. The year 1995 brought not only his senior year in high school, but it brought him to MIX 107.3 KISX Radio in Tyler, Texas.
While in college, he took a break from radio, just doing the occasional commercial for different radio stations in Dallas, Tyler, Palestine, and Lubbock. In 1997, he returned to radio at TEXAS COUNTRY 96.7. Here he continued to build his skills as a DJ and Program Director.
While all of this was going on, Justin had been doing private DJ work. First with a couple of friends, next with Richard Keller, and finally ending up with CMB Music Productions. Leaving CMB in October of 2001 gave him a chance just to take a small break from his life of music. BUT...he realized that he missed pleasing the crowd just too much, and P3 Pro Sound was created four months later in 2002.
He went back to work in Radio in July 2007, where he worked as the Afternoon On Air personality at KYYK 98.3 FM, until the end of March 2008. November 2008 brought a career change as Justin left Palestine Regional Medical Center EMS, where he had been working as a Paramedic since 1999.
P3 Pro Sound has continued to improve since it's creation, and in October 2008 a second system was added. In addition to the second system, P3 now is using PCDJ and MAC DJ'ing software. Our Music Library consists over 100,000 different songs, and is stored on external hard drives, and is still kept on disc.
With 17 years as a Professional DJ/MC, and hundreds of events under his belt, Justin has the experience, and the skills to make your event memorable!
